Hey everyone. I am so excited to share my layouts created with the November Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook. This amazing kit featured the Santa's Village collection from Simple Stories along with some Echo Park Paper chipboard, stickers and die cut ephemera. Every month the kit also includes a sketch and digital cut files from the Cut Shoppe. Here's what I created ...
1. Christmas Spirit - This layout was created with the monthly sketch by Laura Whitaker.
The circles on the background had me wanting to try to create my own mixed media background, very much like the 49th & Market Painted Foundations background. My YouTube video will show you how to create one too...
2. Home For The Holidays - Since I was on a mixed media background roll, I decided to make another using the Simple Stories stencil that was included in the kit. I also used the Gingerbread House and Home For The Holidays cut files from The Cut Shoppe that are included in your kit subscription.
3. North Pole - I had to scrap a photo of my grandson visiting Santa for the first time.
4. Merry Christmas features our dogs enjoying their Christmas presents. I don't think Allie approves of her naughty scarf.
My Creative Scrapbook puts together 4 kits every month. I used the Main kit for these layouts. Each kit is put together beautifully. There is really something for every kind of scrapbooker! Go check them all out.
Hey everyone. I am so excited to share my layouts created with the September Main kit fromMy Creative Scrapbook. This amazing kit featured the new Shimelle Reasons To Smile collection from American Crafts. It also contained some Vicki Boutin Bold & Bright papers and die cut ephemera. Every month the kit also includes a sketch and digital cut files from the Cut Shoppe. Here's what I created ...
1. Everyday Moments - This digital cut file from The Cut Shoppe was included in the September kit subscription. I cut it large from the blue ledger paper and backed the letters with pattern paper from The Reasons To Smile collection. This was a fun layout to create with its vellum bubbles extending out from this sweet photo of my grandson with his bubble blower. Watch the process video to see how it came together.
2. Having Fun - This layout was loosely based on the sketch this month by Laura Whitaker. My daughter and boyfriend are posing in front of Sweet Martha's Cookies at the Minnesota State Fair.
3. Enjoy - This bright layout documents a fun outing with our grandson. Ice Cream Will Make Today Better ... or not when your going through the terrible twos.
4. Reasons To Smile - The heart balloon pattern paper inspired me to create a balloon bouquet on this birthday layout.

Hey everyone. I am so excited to share my layouts created with the August Main kit fromMy Creative Scrapbook. This amazing kit featured the new Paige Evans Adventurous collection from American Crafts. This kit also contained a painted foundations background from 49th & Market and this fun Summer Bucket List cut file from the Cut Shoppe. Here's what I created ...
1. Wander, The Road To Hana - I'm still scrapping photos from our latest Hawaii trip. We decided we had to see what the iconic road to Hana was all about. Depending on where you stop, this could be an all day trip! The road is winding and only one lane in many places, so it's slow going when you have to wait for cars going in the other direction before you can continue on. We did stop to see some gorgeous sites though. Watch my YouTube process video here ...
2. Summer Bucket List - This travel collection is easy to use on some everyday photos too. Of course I snuck in a layout of my grandson. Cut file is included with a kit subscription and is from the Cut Shoppe.
3. The Mountains Are Calling - My daughter was so excited the other week. She took her puppy Sullivan with her on a mountain hike and he did great! He loved it!! I used the 49th & Market Painted foundations background paper that was included in the kit.
4. Breakfast With Mini Mouse - I took great liberties with the monthly sketch. I immediately thought mouse ears when I saw it. (A side effect of babysitting my grandson and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse).

The beautiful My Creative Scrapbook May Main Kit featured the Sunny Blooms collection from Pebbles. While the die cut images are geared towards gardening and Easter, it's a versatile collection and can be used for every day and vacation photos as you will see. I made a kit unboxing video you can watch here...
Let me show you what I made with this pretty kit...
1. Explore - With this cloud pattern paper, I knew exactly what photos I wanted to scrap. The negative strip is an altered cut file from The Cut Shoppe and it is included with you kit subscription.
You can watch my YouTube process video here ...
2. Happy Heart - I had to scrap some Easter pics of my grandson with this adorable pattern paper with the bunnies.
You can Watch my YouTube process video here ...
3. Fixer Upper - This layout was inspired by this polaroid cut file from The Cut Shoppe. It is included with your kit subscription. I thought it would be a great way to document my daughter's first house purchase (a fixer upper) and her home projects that made her house a home. I'm not so happy with my journaling ... wish I had done computer journaling instead, but I tell myself it is important to hand write sometimes.
4. Blossom - I had to include a gardening layout with all the stickers and die cuts that are geared towards gardening. I LOVE my flower and vegetable gardens!
5. Memories Together - With the papers and embellishments I had left, I thought I could scrap these fun photos of my daughter holding her nephew for the first time. This time with computer journaling, lol.

I have long been a fan of Miss Kate Cuttables cut files, but did you know she now has a monthly subscription box? She asked me if I would help her promote her new monthly subscription kits and I jumped at the chance. She sent me the April Birthday Wishes kit and I couldn't wait to play with it. Want to see what is in the kit? Watch my kit unboxing here ...
I love the bright happy colors and whimsical animals in the kit. In addition to the pattern papers, the kit includes a pack of coordinating solid colors. They cut beautifully with my Silhouette Cameo and my metal dies. Here is a process video of a birthday layout for my grandson's first birthday party. I cut out tons of stars using nested star metal dies.
I also wanted to make some shaped birthday cards using some Miss Kate Cuttable cut files. The solid coordinating colored paper really came in handy for these.

The beautiful My Creative Scrapbook April Main Kit featured the Making The Best Of It collection from Pinkfresh Studios. While the colors are spring like, this kit is versatile enough for every day and vacation photos as you will see.
Let me show you what I made...
1. Sharing This Beautiful Story - I cut this scallop pattern paper all apart and arranged it into a heart which framed my photo perfectly. Watch my YouTube process video to see how you can adhere the vellum floral ephemera bits down without the glue showing through,
2. LOVE, I Want To Be Everywhere With You - My daughter recently went to Costa Rica for a friend's destination wedding. I couldn't help but scrap this gorgeous photo of her and her boyfriend. Again, I cut a sheet of chevron pattern paper all apart and rearranged it to frame my photo. Lots and lots of machine stitching on this one!
3. This Was Meant To Be - Another layout documenting my newest grand fur baby's gotcha day. I used the April monthly sketch by Laura Whitaker.
4. Spring Is In The Air - I couldn't help but use this gorgeous cut file from The Cut Shoppe that was included with the April kit subscription. I backed the cut file with one of the pattern papers from the Making The Best Of It collection. The mixed media background sheet is from 49th and Market that came from my stash. Aren't these the cutest pics of my grandson enjoying a ride in a swing?

The beautiful My Creative Scrapbook March Main Kit featured the Simple Stories Fresh Air collection. Even though the winter here in Minnesota was mild, it was refreshing to work with a Spring collection.
Let me show you what I made.
1. Hello Spring - This awesome Hello Spring cut file is included in your kit subscription and is from The Cut Shoppe. The background paper from 49 and Market is from my stash. Watch My YouTube process video for all the details on this fun layout.
2. Sunny Days - I had to scrap these fun playground pics of my grandson from last Fall. He loves to climb on everything!
3. Family - The March Main kit include the Simple Stories Family Page Kit and it worked well with the Simple Stories Fresh Air pattern papers.
4. You Make Me Happy - I haven't created a mixed media layout in a while using my acrylic paints and decided to have some fun and create some drips. Watch my YouTube process video to see how this fun layout came together. I used the monthly sketch by Laura Whitaker for this layout. I added canvas flair from Scrappin Happy Studio.

The My Creative Scrapbook February Main Kit featured the Simple Stories Winter Wonder collection as well as some Echo Park Paper papers from Winterland and Chipboard frames from Echo Park Paper Winter collection. Even though these were Winter collections, there were some floral, plaid, and gingham pattern papers so the kit was versatile enough for more than just your cold weather photos. Let me show you what I made.
1. Snow Much Fun - The Snow Much Fun cut file is included in your kit subscription and is from PearTree Cut Files. I cut the title large, inked and stitched it and placed it on a stenciled background. You can hear all about my process on my YouTube process video here...
2. Oh So Cold - I used the monthly sketch by Rebecca Moore as the starting point for the design of this layout. I moved up the two side banners otherwise they would have been mostly covered up with my embellishments.
3. She Said Yes! - I took advantage of the plaid and floral pattern papers to do a non winter layout of my son's engagement. We are delighted for them. This layout is based on the monthly sketch by Laura Whitaker. I substituted a heart cut file from a past kit in place of the circle on the sketch. The heart worked better for my photos.
4. This Smile - I adore this photo of my niece. Her mom would not dress her in any pink, so I thought the green florals and gingham would be perfect for scrapping this photo. The adorable bunny and more floras from the ephemera die pack worked well on this layout.
