New Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits Dies

 Hello friends!\

I was recently sent some of the newest Sizzix Tim Holtz Thinlits dies to create samples with for Scrapbook.com and I had such fun playing with them!

This Papercut Cafe set is already one of my favorites. I used the Mini Caps Alphabet Stamp set to add my sentiment and cardstock from various Scrapbook.com paper pads. The paper pads have smooth cardstock which I prefer when die cutting.

I also see myself reaching for the Blossom Thinlits Die set again and again. This flower die is beautiful! I was thinking sunflower and zinnia when I created these. Next, I want to create a purple coneflower with it next I think. Scrapbook.com sent me these rub-on card sentiments that paired will with the dies.

I was a bit stumped what to put on my Gentlemen cards. My daughter regularly quotes Charles Bukowski and I shameless stole these quotes from his poems for my cards. These cards were quick to assemble. It's nice to have a masculine card on hand. The embossing folders are older Sizzix Texture Fades.

This Easter card combines the Bunny Stitch Thinlits Die set with the Alphanumeric Emporeum Thinlits Die set.

These bunnies are just adorable! I also stamped card sentiments on these two Easter cards.

I am using the Scrapbook.com Card Sentiments for Every Occasion stamp set here along with an embossing folder from Sizzix Anna Griffin line.

Besides the Bunny Stitch Thinlits Die set, I am using the new Mini Brushstroke Flowers Thinlits Die set. Note: The Sherbet Cardstock and Pattern Paper pads go wonderfully together with the flower die set. The Stamp set is also from Scrapbook.com and is called Sunshiny Day.

If something catches your fancy, you might want to grab them ASAP. These are sure to sell out fast.

Hey, Hello Cards - Pebbles

Hello blogging friends!

I've been playing with the beautiful new Pebbles Hey, Hello collection from Jen Hadfield. This collection is a cardmakers dream! So many elements that can be layered to make gorgeous cards for any occasion; Birthday, Sympathy, Thank You, Thinking of You, and so much more. The first cards I created were birthday cards. I always need birthday cards. I bet you do too. Check these out...

This little hedgehog is the cutest! He is all ready to celebrate with you!! The Hey, Hello collection has a sheet of 12x12 pattern paper full of tags like this one. They are excellent for cardmaking layered over a couple other pieces of pattern paper.

There is also a sheet of 12x12 pattern paper with 3x4 journal cards perfect for cardmaking as well. This card features an adorable sloth.

Then I made a sympathy and a thank you card using beautiful florals and black pattern paper for striking contrast.

My sympathy card is also made from a 3x4 journal card. I added some florals for dimension, a dainty bow, and a few nuvo drops for interest.

There is another 12x12 sheet of pattern paper with 2x2 squares, giving you another option for layering on cards.

This last one might be my favorite. I tucked in some fussy cut florals and used lots of layers. Another bow and nuvo drops add interest. My tip for cardmaking: Use some foam dots to help separate the layers like I did here.

Thank you so much for stopping by! If you are a cardmaker, this is one collection you NEED!

Cards and More with the Clique Kits Spring Card Kit

Hello blogging friends!

I am back today to show you some of the things I have created with the awesome Clique Kits Spring Card kit. This kit features the oh so popular My Mind's Eye On Trend 2, an adorable Waffle Flower Crafts bow die, and a fabulous Honey Bee Stamp Set that is only available now in our Spring Card Kit! Take a look ...

I have to tell you those flamingos and pineapples are my favorites. They were the first things I used to adorn my cards...

  YouRock

My daughter's Vet School white coat ceremony is Saturday!!! I made this card for her. The glassine bag will work perfect to stick a little gift card into. Just what my girl needs ... a little $$ to make it through the next 52 weeks of her externships. Yup, I am one proud mama! Check out this adorable bow! I love that Waffle Flower Crafts die!

  BowDie

My next cards make use of more of the dies in the ephemera die cuts pack. These dies make it so easy to put a card together fast! Can't decide what paper to use ... use 2 and cut them on a diagonal for a different look....

  PineappleCard

Not wanting to waste paper, the other diagonal pieces went on another card :)

Yes, there was a fabulous Honey Bee Stamp set as well. I used it on this coffee cup I created from an SVGcuts Good Day at the Office digital cut file. It looks like the real deal, doesn't it. I am going to fill it with chocolates for my office assistant who is retiring. It would make a great teacher gift too. I stamped the sentiment here with VersaMark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

  CoffeeCup

The butterfly was stamped on vellum and then embossed with a white embossing powder before I fussy cut it out.

If you like what you are seeing, then you better hurry and snatch up your Spring Card kit in the Clique store before they are gone! Use coupon code Marcia10 and save 10%.

Give Thanks Cards - Imaginisce

Hello blogging friends! How many of you were making cards this past weekend for World Card Making Day 2015?

I used the awesome Imaginisce Give Thanks collection to create a couple Thank You cards. I love sending a thank you card to friends or family even when they aren't expecting one. All too often we take people for granted. This is a good time of the year to reach out and let our loved ones know how much they mean to us.

Each collection from Imaginisce has coordinating stamps, and the Give Thanks collection has some truly adorable ones. I couldn't resist practicing my coloring skills on the fox and the squirrel. I am a beginner when it comes to coloring stamped images and I still need lots of practice, LOTS!, lol. Coloring is relaxing and fun. Here are my cards ...

To add some pizzazz to my cards I used my i-Rock to adhere some gold metallic gems. Blinging up a card gives it instant elegance.

Supplies:
Imaginisce : Pattern Papers, Phrase Stickers, Wood Buttons (Give Thanks), i-Rock, metallic gems

Many Thanks - Top Dog Dies

Happy Wednesday blogging friends!

I have a new Top Dog Dies card to share with you today. The September release is live and it was full of awesome Fall and Halloween dies. The card I made for today uses the new Top Dog Dies Leaf Mosaic die set.

This die is one of my favorites from the September release. Check out the adorable Thank You card I created with the new Imaginisce Give Thanks collection.

I used foam tape to give the leaf mosaic die cut some dimension. I also slightly sanded the cardstock to distress it.

This eye-catching die is sure to be a favorite of yours too.

Thanks for Helping Me Grow - Imaginisce inspiration

It's Teacher Appreciation week at Imaginisce! I couldn't resist a "Thanks for Helping Me Grow" box card using the new Imaginisce Heartland Farm collection. I am having so much fun with this SVGcuts box cards cut file.

I used my i-Rock to set some metallic gems in my strawberry blossoms. This is best done before you assemble your card.

It is so easy too, just hold the hot tip to the gem for a few seconds.

I even made a coordinating envelope to go with my card with that adorable strawberry paper. See how flat this card folds.

Now a few chocolate covered strawberries are just what I need to go along with my card!

Supplies:
Imaginisce : Pattern Papers, Die Cuts, Enamel Dots  (Heartland Farm), I-Rock, Metallic gems
American Crafts: Cardstock

I am loving the new collection Heartland Farm! Are you loving it too?
