Back to School Teacher Gift Box - Maya Road

I am so excited to be guest designing for Maya Road today! They sent me so many awesome products to work with. When I saw the Work It Office Die Bundle, I thought how perfect it would be to create a Teacher gift. I combined it with an Antique Wood Ruler, a Ken Oliver Vintage Typewriter Charm, and Ken Oliver Waxed Hemp in Fern Green and created this apple gift box (from SVGcuts)...

This apple box opens up and you can place candy and/or a gift card inside.

I really love these eye glasses in the die set, which also includes the notebook paper, the star, the check mark, and the pencil. A little vellum behind the eyeglasses makes them look more realistic. I attached the typewriter charm to the green waxed hemp and tied a bow ... isn't it lovely!

Cards and More with the Clique Kits Spring Card Kit

I have to tell you those flamingos and pineapples are my favorites. They were the first things I used to adorn my cards...

   

My daughter's Vet School white coat ceremony is Saturday!!! I made this card for her. The glassine bag will work perfect to stick a little gift card into. Just what my girl needs ... a little $$ to make it through the next 52 weeks of her externships. Yup, I am one proud mama! Check out this adorable bow! I love that Waffle Flower Crafts die!

 

My next cards make use of more of the dies in the ephemera die cuts pack. These dies make it so easy to put a card together fast! Can't decide what paper to use ... use 2 and cut them on a diagonal for a different look....

 

Not wanting to waste paper, the other diagonal pieces went on another card :)

 

Yes, there was a fabulous Honey Bee Stamp set as well. I used it on this coffee cup I created from an SVGcuts Good Day at the Office digital cut file. It looks like the real deal, doesn't it. I am going to fill it with chocolates for my office assistant who is retiring. It would make a great teacher gift too. I stamped the sentiment here with VersaMark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

   

The butterfly was stamped on vellum and then embossed with a white embossing powder before I fussy cut it out.

Thanks for Helping Me Grow - Imaginisce inspiration

It's Teacher Appreciation week at Imaginisce! I couldn't resist a "Thanks for Helping Me Grow" box card using the new Imaginisce Heartland Farm collection. I am having so much fun with this SVGcuts box cards cut file.

I used my i-Rock to set some metallic gems in my strawberry blossoms. This is best done before you assemble your card.

It is so easy too, just hold the hot tip to the gem for a few seconds.

I even made a coordinating envelope to go with my card with that adorable strawberry paper. See how flat this card folds.

Now a few chocolate covered strawberries are just what I need to go along with my card!

Thanks Whooo! - Imaginisce Teacher Appreciation

Hello blogging friends. I have a teacher appreciation treat bag to share with your today that I made with my Imaginisce Childhood Memories and Good Dog scraps.

I found this little guy in the Silhouette on-line store ( a Lori Whitlock design) and knew he would be perfect for a Teacher Appreciation gift. This is a treat bag, so I can fill him with some candy and a gift card. I added this little tag on the back to say Thanks as an owl would :) I could see this making a great graduation gift too. Just change the tag saying to something like "You did Owl-right!"
