Sparkle & Shine cards - Clique Kits

Hello blogging friends! I have some cards to share that I created with the Sweet Stamp Shop Sparkle and Shine stamp set that was included in my December Clique Kit Enchanted Meadow. Since this kit is full of diamond stamps, diamond paper, acrylic diamonds, and even a clique kit exclusive diamond digital cut file, I wanted to brainstorm card ideas (other than wedding which was the first thing that popped into my head). Here are some sentiments I came up with ...

"You're a Gem"
"Congrats on the Shiny New Bling"
"I Think You're Brilliant"
"You Sparkle & Shine"
"You Rock"
"Rock On"

and my cards using some of these sentiments and the stamps...

On this card I printed the sentiment using my computer and  Microsoft Word software. The font is Lavanderia (one of my favorites) which you can download for free. You can find it here ... thefonty.com.  dafont.com is another great source for fonts and explains how to install your new font for different operating systems.

YoureAGem

and one more...

YouRock

Can you think of other diamond sentiments? I would love to hear them!

Glittery Christmas Ornaments - Love My Tapes

Hello blogging friends! I am back today with another idea for how to use those glitter sheets from Love My Tapes. These glitter sheets are so beautiful and with Christmas coming, I could not help myself from creating a few ornaments.

It's looks like it is just floating inside the ornament. Here is how I did it. My ornaments are the flat round glass ornaments and I found mine at Micheals. You will also need a sheet of transparency from an office supply store. I found an ornament shape in the Silhouette store (Lori Whitlock), sized it slightly smaller than my actual ornament, and cut it out from my transparency sheet. My ornament measured 3" in diameter, so I cut the transparency at 2.9". Then I looked for what shapes I wanted to put inside the ornament and also sized these to 2.9". After cutting with my Silhouette, I peeled of the paper backing and stuck it to my transparency.

Now roll it up and slip it inside the ornament,

Add a little artificial snow if you like. Attach a ribbon to hang it on a tree, or you could even attach to a gift bag.

Aren't they beautiful!
