Hello blogging friends!
I am back today with a Cocoa Vanilla Studios Hello Lovely layout to share with you. I am head over heals in love with this gorgeous collection! I really love the variety of embellishments. Truly, there is something for every type of scrapper.
Last summer I did a photo shoot for my sister and her family. My brother-in-law is battling cancer and distant family had come to visit. I was so pleased to have captured this photo of the two of them. I thought the Hello Lovely collection would be perfect to scrap it. I’ve been thinking of these two a lot lately as my brother-in-law is back in the hospital again.
I wanted to use the woodgrain paper to carry through an outdoorsy feeling but wanted to jazz it up a bit. I used a JustNick digital cut file to create a mask from cardstock. Laying the mask on top of my woodgrain paper, I then sponged on some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I love how the background turned out. Here is my layout…
My title came from the journal card sheet of pattern paper. It was perfect don’t you think!
New with this collection are these gorgeous flowers, enamel dots, and ephemera die cuts. I layered them all here, creating a cluster along with the flair and a wood veneer piece from the collection.
This journal card sentiment was perfect. Happy moments with family and friends need to be cherished. I embellished it with more ephemera die cuts, stickers, and wood veneers.
Thanks for stopping by today!
