Hello blogging friends. Are you like me and trying to enjoy as much of the sunny Autumn days as you can?
I
think Autumn paper collections are my favorite. The busy summer
schedules are over and life slows down. With the cooler temps, we spend
more evenings inside with family. When it is nice, we savor the outdoors
because we know all to well that those warm sunny days will soon end.
And the colors that abound are breathtaking! The colors in the Imaginisce Bushel O'
Fall collection are just as beautiful. In this layout of my son and his girlfriend,
I used my i-Top and some burlap to create the center of my sunflower. The
burlap adds interesting texture. I colored the metal top with a Copic
marker first so that it blended better with the burlap. Then I used my
Imaginisce Petal Roller to shape my sunflower petals.
For
my second project, I made a card with that yummy apple paper and some
die cuts. A few scattered i-Rock gems finish it off. Wouldn't this be
perfect for a teacher!
