Make a project with a handmade embellishment!
Here is an example to get you rolling with ideas...
I made my own flowers for this layout with cardstock and Quick Quotes Powderpuff ink!Want to know how I made them? It's pretty easy.
1. Cut 2 circles out of your cardstock, one slightly larger than the other. They do not need to be perfect. Punch 5 flowers. This punch that I am using is about 1" across.
2. Take your circles and cut triangles out forming 6 petals. Then ink the edges and centers of the circles and ink one side of the flowers.
3. Lightly mist all with water. You want them damp, not saturated. Then take each one and smoosh from the center of the flower.
4. Let dry, and then carefully uncrumple. Leave one small flower crumpled. It is going to be the center.
5. Take this one last crumple flower and glue it into the middle of another. Push the petals up as you go.
Glue the smaller cut flower into the larger one. Work with the petals, turning the edges under a bit.
6. Glue the center bud into the center of the flower. Now make a few more!
