Falling in Love

When I saw this fantastic sketch by Kim Holmes on the Imaginisce blog for their October monthly challenge, I immediately thought of this picture I took of my son and his girlfriend the weekend before. We had been out walking enjoying the fall colors and I caught a wonderful moment. My son is still a senior in high school, but his girl friend is a year older than him and already away at college. They miss each other so much, but luckily she is at a college only an hour away and can come home some weekends. Oh to be young and in love ....  Anyway, here is my layout.
 I am using paper from 4 different Imaginisce collections; Happy Harvest, Happy Camper, Apple Cider, and Lucy Bird. The picture was printed in a sepia tone so it doesn't detract from the wonderful colors of the paper. I used the blue stitching along the bottom to blow my leaves across the page and have the hearts falling down the side.

    Oh my gosh!! This is fantastic!! I love it!!! You have so many details to look at just as Melinda said. Beautiful photo! I love the heart around it, all the layers, texture from the burlap, along with all the other bits and pieces. Great job of mixing lines!!
