Pumpkin Bowling - JustNick Studios

Hello blogging friends!

How about some Fall inspiration! There are plenty of new Fall cut files in the JustNick Studios on-line store. Today I used the new Fall Florals cut file because it went so well with the Forever Fall collection from Simple Stories. I also had to use a pumpkin. Pumpkins are one of the first things I think of for fall. I love those pumpkin spice lattes. There are lots of fun family activities at the local pick your own pumpkin patch, from corn mazes to even ... Pumpkin Bowling! My cute nephew will show you how its done ...

For my title I like combining different fonts, colors, and textures to create an eye-catching title. Here I used the scripty word 'pumpkin' from the Feels Like Fall digital cut file and combined it with some chipboard alphas.

The Fall Florals cut file includes a cotton boll stem as well as these pretty flowers. You can also see a pumpkin layered in the back from the Sights of Fall cut file as well as a few leaves.

Here are the digital cut files I used today ...

Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to check out all the Fall digital cut files in the JustNick Studios store for documenting your Fall memories!

YAY! - Cocoa Vanilla Studios

Hello blogging friends!

I am back today with a fun birthday layout using the pretty Cocoa Vanilla Studios Make A Wish collection. I love all the different pattern papers in this collection and wanted to showcase them all on a layout. I decided to cut out numbers on my background paper and back each opening with a different pattern paper. Here is how my layout turned out ...

I placed my photo in a chipboard sticker frame and decided to also use the chipboard YAY for my title. I embellished with those sparkling enamel dots that are so pretty and some die-cut ephemera pieces.

I love using the fabulous puffy stickers to add some dimension and those phrase stickers are so fun!

I wanted to emphasize the 6 on my layout because this little darling is 6 years old now, so I hand stitched around my 6's. More embellishments here add to the festive feel, like that fun Hip Hip Hooray wood veneer, flair, and vellum accents.

Banners and celebrations seem to go hand in hand. So I created a banner with a variety of chipboard, puffy stickers and die cut ephemera pieces.

This layout oozes happiness. I love the color combo here, so rich and vibrant.

Thanks for stopping by today. Make A Wish is available now in the Cocoa Vanilla Studios store and while I used it for a birthday layout, it totally works for other festive occasions as well.

Hello blogging friends! I have an Imaginisce layout to share today. This one features my niece and nephew, Bailey and Sawyer. This week Imaginisce is focusing on re-purposing a paper collection for an everyday uses. I am using the Perfect Vacation papers. I just love how bright and cheery this collection is. It was so easy to use this collection with everyday snapshots.

I found this awesome sketch at Pagemaps and just had to use it... I was in love with that hot air balloon.

Here are some close-ups. I found this fabulous balloon by Rivka Wilkins in the Silhouette store. The #SMILE is from Creative Embellishments. AWESOME chipboard and more! Timbergrove Layout - Fancy Pants

Hello blogging friends. I feel like its been forever since I did a layout. I saw the Fancy Pants Timbergrove collection at my local Archivers before Christmas and had to have it! I love the colors and the fun embellishments that coordinate. I did this on New Years Eve (since my hubby had to work) and I finally got a chance to photograph it.

So let me tell you about this snowman. I built him in our driveway, right where my hubby parks his car. We had a really late snowstorm last April and the snow shovel was already packed away in the back of the shed. What's a girl to do when she can't shovel snow? He is even wearing my husbands hat, lol. It sure put a smile on my hubby's face when he came home. I journaled on a card I stuck inside the paper pocket...

I used the Winter Wonderland chipboard title from Creative Embellishments. Isn't it fabulous!! I painted it blue then added some white paint to look like snow on top of the letters. Then I glued some snow flocking powder on. Behind the title, I created a snowbank from box board that I painted white and added texture with some molding paste. Then I used some shabby blue frontage embossing powder for some glitter effects.
Creative Embellishments has a monthly challenge and lots of Facebook giveaways. Go check them out.

I am linking up with Scrap Africa. I used their latest sketch ...

Temps are dropping here. I think staying inside and crafting all weekend is called for :)
Have a great weekend!
