Conversation Heart Box Card - Xyron

Hello blogging friends. I've been in Valentine making mode lately. I think I am addicted to making box cards from SVGcuts. They came out with a new Valentine Box Card kit last week and I could not wait to start creating. Here is the first one I made....

Aren't those conversation hearts adorable! I also made a coordinating envelope. It was easy with my Xyron 9" Creative Station, my favorite Xyron product. Here is how I did it ...

I selected my cardstock and pattern papers. A heavy cardstock for the base works best. Too light a cardstock will not hold up after adding more layers of cardstock and the crystal heart embellishments. After the pieces were cut out with my Silhouette Cameo, I ran the all the pieces except the base through my Xyron 9" Creative Station.

Then I started to layer the the pieces onto the base...

Cardstock hearts are applied to both sides of the flaps on the base...

The larger base piece is glued together first and then the inside panels are glued in.

The inside of the O's were still sticky with adhesive from the Creative Station. I used this Xyron adhesive eraser to remove it.

Then my card was ready to add the crystal hearts...

Now we need to get our envelope ready. I used my Xyron Mega Tape Runner to run a line of adhesive down the bottom of the side flaps of the envelope.

I did not have to score the paper where it folds, the Silhouette cut a dashed line there, making it easy to fold.

The card folds flat and fits perfectly inside...

On the back of the box card is a writing spot so your recipient knows who sent it.

This one will look fabulous on my daughter's desk at school.

SVGcuts: Hearts Aflame Kit
Silhouette Cameo
American Crafts cardstock 
Crate Paper (Love Notes) pattern paper

I have another Valentine box card to share with you next week :) Yup... I am addicted.
