I was hopping along on The Pink Stamper blog hop this weekend and was so inspired that I decided to take Robyn's challenge and create a 3D treat bag. Years ago, in my days as a fearless Girl Scout leader, I had my Brownie's make these turkey place cards. They were such a hit, that we decided to make more for our Thanksgiving guests. My nieces and nephews gobbled them up (sorry, couldn't resist that one, LOL). I like to fill mine with M&Ms, but you could use candy corn or other favorite candy of yours. Here is a picture....
The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon in their September ribbon club assortment. They have a fantastic selection of ribbon. Check them out, you will love it! I am entering this in their Fun 4 Fall challenge too.
These are super easy to make. Cut a 10x10 piece of tulle. Place your 1/2 cup or so of your candy choice in the middle of the tulle. Twist shut with a 6 inch piece of pipe cleaner and continue to twist the pipe cleaner together and form the turkey's head. Tie on a ribbon and tag if you like. Glue on some eyes.
Super simple! Hope you like what you saw!
This is such a cute idea, and your tag looks great! Thanks for joining Robyn's My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop!!
