Hello - A Top Dog Dies Flower Tutorial

Hello blogging friends!

I have a Top Dog Dies tutorial to share with you today for making shaped flowers with the Top Dog Dies new Pretty Petals 3 die set. Here is a card I created with my handmade flowers using the July Clique Kit featuring the 365 collection from Chickaniddy...

Supplies
Top Dog Dies Pretty Petals 3 die set
Top Dog Dies Leaves die set
Top Dog Dies Modern Mosaic die
Top Dog Dies Berry Branch die
Pattern Paper (I am using the 365 collection from Chickaniddy)
coordinating ink for flower
brad (any color....I prefer those with longer shanks)
Water mister

Step 1.  Die cut your flowers from pattern paper and apply ink to the centers.

Step 2. Punch a hole in the center of each one.

Step 3. Spritz with water (damp not saturated) and crimp petals.

Step 4. Place the brad through the smallest flower die cut. Right side down.

Step 5. Apply glue to the top of the brad and along wedge of curled petals. Alternate folding petals up to form the bud.

Step 6. Add other flower petal layers from smallest to largest. Open brad after the bottom petal layer. When you are ready to place on a card, use a glue dot.

Step 7. Die cut some leaves. Spritz with water and shape tips.

Now you are ready to use your flowers on a card!

Here is another flower example that I created on an earlier card.

Thanks for stopping by today.
