Autumn Blessings - Imaginisce Fall Home Decor

Hello blogging friends!

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love the trees turning color. So I thought I would create a home decor project that brought those fabulous leaves into my house. I found this white pumpkin at my local Micheal's store and couldn't wait to try a decoupage project. I started by die cutting leaves from a variety of the Imaginisce Bushel O' Fall pattern papers using my Cheery Lynn Large Leaves #1 dies. I cut some flourishes also with the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish and the Mini Fanciful Flourish dies. This is a fabulous way to use up your scraps! I began by adhering the leaves and flourishes around my pumpkin with decoupage. I added a couple more coats of decoupage over the top. Then I created a tag by attaching a die-cut to a piece of burlap and trimming the edges. Some twine and ribbon finish it off very nicely. Don't forget to use the i-Magicut ribbon cutter for no frayed edges on your ribbon.

To create the kinks in the twine .... dip your twine into your decoupage. Strip off the excess with your fingers. Then wrap around a wooden dowel rod. Let dry. You will have to pry the twine off the rod, but the kinks will remain.
