Christmas in July + a Giveaway = Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

Hello blogging friends! There is a fabulous fun Scrap Our Stash blog hop going on with a Christmas in July theme. You should have arrived here from the Practical Scrappers blog.

Here is the line up in case you get lost along the way ...

Alison
Ruth
Majken
Lyne

I think my Christmas paper stash exceeds any other I have. I don't know why I have to buy a couple different collections every year. I keep telling myself that I can use the extra papers to make cards to send out. Well, truth be told.... not many cards get sent out. I get too wrapped up with work, my kids, and entertaining around the holidays that I run out of time. Here is what I created using the fun Doodlebug North Pole collection.....

This is actually a tri-fold card. I love the extra dimension the layers add. I actually embossed the sentiment too!! Pretty fancy for this girl.

Well.... I still had so much paper left after making this card, I decided to scrap this photo too....

This is my oldest Naomi visiting with Mrs Claus at one of my employee Christmas parties a long time ago. It's a little sad that this tradition is no longer observed by my employer. There is lots of negative space and bling going on here....

Now for the giveaway.... I thought I should actually giveaway something Christmas related, so how about a 6x6 Studio Calico paper pad. I bought 2 of these last Christmas for my Christmas cards and didn't even touch this one before I ran out of time. My procrastination can be your gain. Leave me a comment and become a follower of my blog. Easy Peasy! Tell me if your a procratinator too and I'll throw in some other goodies. I've been cleaning/organizing the scraproom and discovering all sorts of treasures, sometimes in duplicate because I forgot I had already bought it or worse I couldn't find the first one I bought so I bought another.  ( Hi, my name is Marcia and I am addicted to scrapbooking )

Studio Calico Magical 6x6 Christmas Paper Pad

So now its time to hop over to the very talented Laura's blog . Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I am a Christmas paper hoarder too! I always seem to want more. Last year I realized up I had never actually scrapped a single Christmas picture, so I made a point of doing it. It was so hard to actually use my beloved papers. LOL! So yes, I am also a procrastinator. :)

  4. Wonderful page and adorable card. I'm not a procrastinator per se, but so many other things go on in life that I'm more behind then I'd like.

  6. Love the tri fold card. So fun to have that little bit of layering to be different. I like your layout too. I am sometimes a procrastinator, sometimes not...kind of depends on what it is I'm doing.

  12. I am trying to start this scrapbooking thing. I am gathering items atm and I guess a scrapbooking for dummy book is a good idea as well. I am a procrastinator as well. And I have an overabundance of yarn! (I crochet a tiny bit and am learning to knit) Scrapbooking is on my bucket list of things to learn, so here I am...following you and the others now from this blog hope and hopefully I learn (and retain!) a lot. I love the tri-fold card! Cuteness! (and yes I'm following you now :) ~ Mippy/Sabrina :)
