Little Princess - Imaginisce New Release

Hello blogging friends. I hope you found some time to scrap this weekend to celebrate National Scrapbook Day. It was a busy weekend, but I made a little time :)

Have you seen the new Little Princess collection from Imaginisce? It is so adorable. The reveal was last week on the Imaginisce blog here. I swooned when I saw the latest SVGcuts kit released last week; Boxed Card Sets, I knew that I would have to make this castle card.

I made a matching envelope for my card too. The journal pads are great to create a little writing spot on the envelope. What's really great, is that these cards fold flat for gifting...

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Pattern Paper, Journal Pad (Little Princess collection)
Cardstock: American Crafts, Bazzill
Want2Scrap: Pearls
SVG files: SVGcuts.com
Silhouette Cameo
Stamp: Paper Smooches
Ink: Inkadinkado

After about a week of rain everyday, I was so happy to be able to be outside again, even if it was only in the upper 40's. I spent my Saturday morning at the Minneapolis Bladder Cancer 5K walk. My brother-in-law was diagnosed last summer. Since then, I have lost track of all the surgeries he has had (8 or 9 now I think). The latest one was just last Wednesday. He had new stents placed in his kidneys to help with the infections that have been plaguing him. Even though he was in pain, this guy walked the entire 5K pushing a wheelchair we borrowed for him just in case he needed a rest. I so admire his determination. Here is a group shot of Team Dave (Dave is sitting in the wheelchair).

My daughter's dog was so popular on the walk. People wanted to sponsor the dog and were giving my daughter cash on the spot! Yeah Sue! (and yes, Sue is wearing a tshirt too)

I hope you enjoyed your weekend too.
