Celebrate - Spring Card

Hello blogging friends. Busy day so this will be a quick post. Had to say goodbye to an Uncle of mine this morning. He lost his 3 year battle with cancer. It's so sad that I only see my cousins now for funerals.

This week my backyard was filled with robins. Such a beautiful sight. Hello Spring!! Then we got 8" of snow. Yup its still there. Anyway the robins made me remember that I had this stamp from Papers and Such that I love. I just had to dig it out and make a card. This one is for the Cheery Lynn Back to Nature challenge using some pretty Basic Grey Lucille papers and stickers.

I rarely color stamped images. This is not a spectacular coloring job, but its ok. I should take a class one day. I colored this image with my watercolor pencils. Here are some close-ups.

I used the Cheery Lynn Anastasia lace, Sweet Williams strip, and the mini Flourish.

I hope the snow melts fast here and that you have a fabulous weekend!
