Bloom and Grow - for Scraptown Lady

Hello my blogging friends. I have a Scraptown Lady project to share, a frilly, girly layout that I created with the gorgeous Bo Bunny Isabella papers. I just love the combination of pinks with the greys in this collection. I used a white gelato to soften the edge of my grey paper. It softens it, yet you can still see the pattern in the paper beneath. The clock face was cut from Prima packaging. Don't be so quick to toss the package aside. I think the clock fits in perfectly here.

I based my layout on this fabulous sketch by Nadia Cannizzo for Once Upon a Sketch.

I attached the journaling to the back side of my layout...

Yes, my beautiful daughter can still belch out the ABC's.

I love this piece of paper with the flowers and butterflies, so I decided to add a few 3D elements to the mix with the help of a few die cuts The Mini Royal Rolled Roses die cut from My Favorite Things will have you creating beauties like these in no time. I used the Fanciful Flourish die cut from Cheery Lynn to accent my roses. A few Kaisercraft pearls are just the thing to give it some polish.

I also used the Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die cut. Just look at the details these dies provide ....
