2013 - An Epic Year!

Happy New Year! Hello my blogging friends. If you are looking for the Top 10 of 2012 blog hop + my giveaway, scroll down or click the link.

My first Imaginisce project for the year is a layout for the current challenge.

The challenge rules are as follows:
1. Create a layout/card using the sketch provided
2. Use at least 75% Imaginisce product
3. Use the color blue somewhere on your project
4. Theme : Pick ONE word that will describe you/your outlook for the year 2013

Here is a look at the awesome sketch from Diana:
2013 will be a year of many celebrations for me. In July, my husband and I will be celebrating 30 years of marriage! Then in September, I will turn 50 years young! Yes, if you are doing the math, I got married at the age of 19 to my high school sweetheart and best friend. At the moment, all 3 of our kids are in college. Naomi, our oldest should graduate in December with her MFA in creative writing. So the word I chose to describe my outlook for 2013 is "Epic".  Here is my take on the sketch...
Now, I am still waiting to get my DT box from Imaginsce so I dug into my stash. I am using some Lucy Bird, Apple Cider, Monster Mash, and Happy Camper on this layout. The rolled flowers are also Imaginisce. They come precut, so you are ready to roll! Here is a close up of my rolled flowers...
I was a little upset with my computer printer when a new cartridge I installed wouldn't work, so I was forced to hand journal ( I hate my writing).

I hope you will join in this latest challenge at Imaginisce. May 2013 be an epic year full of joy for you!
~Marcia

  5. Love your layout,, and your handwriting is fine :) I know it is hard for a lot of people to understand, but someday, there will be someone who cherishes those handwritten words - no matter how they are written. My grandmother's handwriting was little better than chicken scratch, but I will never part with the recipe book I have of hers. It took all of us to decipher it! But is among my most cherish possessions.
