Sweet Summertime!

Happy Saturday Everybody!! I just had to squeeze in this layout just in time for the Little Yellow Bicycle March sketch challenge. I used the Sweet Summertime collection.
I just love this photo of my son! It won't be long now and we will be seeing bins of watermelons in the grocery stores again. I seem to be putting dragonflies or butterflies on lots of my layouts lately. That is a sure sign that its spring. Here are some closeups...
Those alphas were a lime green, not quite the right color, but with some chalk ink they were perfect. They look just like the outside of a watermelon!
Love this slice of melon too. It was cut with the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge. I placed a half fan fold underneath for dimension. Those scattered black seeds were what was cut out of the melon. I used a black gel pen to color them black and then glued them to the page.
Hope you are all having a great weekend! I definitely need to get some housecleaning done now.
