Guatemala Volunteer - New Sketchabilities challenge

There is a new sketch up at Sketchabilities!! Here is Karan Gerber's latest sketch...
And here is my take on her sketch...
I LOVE how this layout came together! I changed very little of the original sketch. My daughter went to Guatemala with some other pre-vet students in January. It was such a wonderful experience for her. She actually did her first surgery while there. She spayed and neutered cats and dogs, vaccinated livestock and domestic pets, and dispensed meds for all kinds of ailments. She brought me home some chocolate that was in a woven bag with this doll on the front of it. I used pieces of the bag and the doll on this layout.
and the Maya Road flowers and kraft doily were perfect.
Here is a closeup of the journaling.
I chose to use some of the BoBunny Olivia collection from my stash as I wanted keep to an orange color scheme. I even used a chicken wire screen and spray mist!!!
I hope you will join us at Sketchabilities for this latest challenge!
